Why do some topics close 7 days after the last reply, others 10 years?

Wasn’t sure where to post this question. Just curious.

We have changed the settings at various points in time. Maybe some sub-topics got missed with various updates. @HRankin ?

I think @Christy is correct, some of the subgroups must have been missed. People rarely use “General” alone.

7 days should be the standard for posts started by community participants, and 10 Years is designated for articles and content from the BioLogos website, so that if you visit an article in the future, but want to see or join on the conversation, it’s available to do so.
