I was steeped in evangelicalism and YEC from the age of six years old and was sent to Christian schools my entire life. My journey has taken me from a closed-minded YEC’er to a more open-minded EC advocate … although I’m not very good at it yet. I’ve broken free of the YEC chains and have come to realize that EC makes more sense when we read Genesis in light of the scientific discoveries that God has allowed us to make. I’m not a scientist but I am a lifelong learner and reader. And I’m a Christian who believes that one day God will reveal that not one single person (other than his Son) had everything right … and that includes me!
