Teach The Children Well

Yep, start ‘em early! Go outside a lot, camp in nature. Explain everything you can, and learn it yourself. As a young and now quite old ecologist, I did so with my kids and now grandkids. Our sons are now professors in cosmology and ecology at my alma mater (proud), and have deep faith fused with their love of science. [Westmont College grads both, with Stanford and Sac State later]

Welcome to the forum, Patrick, and thanks for sharing! It’s always great to see kids exploring the world and learning about science… and what great memories they’ll have of being with their parents and grandparents.
