[Recently heard that it’s true a fast-food ad campaign somewhere discovered people wouldn’t spend more for a 1/3 lb burger since that was “obviously” less than a 1/4 lb one. So the ad campaign people solved the problem by advertising a 3/9 lb burger - the largest choice yet!]

Reminds me of the burger chain that came out with a 1/3 lb burger to compete with McDonalds quarter pounder, but found it did not sell because people thought it was smaller.
Yikes, Merv beat me to it! Competition is fierce around here.

On a different forums someone posted this on a thread I started in that Theos questionnaire.
Personally I’m an agnostic, but it seems to me that ‘science’ is only as good as the ‘scientists’ presenting it…and, if they are just ‘reaching conclusions’ based on the amount of funding received…
One can say the same of most preachers.
