Was Our Creator Mortal?

I know it sounds crazy, but just think about this: If life on earth arose due to the very slow, very brutal process of natural selection, as the overwhelming majority of scientists—theists and non-theists—believe; a process in which over 99% of all species which have ever existed are now extinct, does that really sound like the handiwork of an omnipotent, omniscient, perfect supernatural being or does it sound like the clumsy, bumbling methodology of a mortal being?

So… what if our universe is the byproduct of an experiment gone awry by a scientist in another universe billions of years ago? That universe having collapsed on itself shortly thereafter, as have the many universes which preceded it. Our universe exploded with a BIG BANG out of the previous universe as a tiny pinpoint particle to become the vast expanse that it is today, after billions of years.

But where did the material involved in the Big Bang come from? And who made that previous universe out of which our universe was born? Who knows! Maybe a supernatural being got it all rolling! However, surely no competent supernatural being would claim responsibility for the disaster that is our world today.

Our Creator must have been a mortal!

I tend towards the idea that the state of being a physical , biological entity inherently requires death and rebirth , that its cyclical and not a value of “ good or bad “ but a process that is fractal in its manifestation, everything dies , even universes .

A repeating pattern.

Much like I suspect the shift from Energy to matter is cycling millions of times a second via wave function collapse.
The humming vibration of our universe.

A plucked cosmic guitar string .

Its either extremely pointless and inefficient, or its genius at such a level as to be far beyond our current scope of understanding.
I bend towards the latter , but im a romantic.
