Thoughtful Podcasts in Science and Faith

Can you recommend a thoughtful podcast you’ve enjoyed lately? (Yes, even “Language of God”!

I enjoy many, though recently I’ve been listening especially to “The Just Life” with Benjamin Watson.

Here’s a good one, with Jemar Tisby. Thank you.

One of my favorites recently is The Imagination Redeemed Podcast

From their about:

“In every episode, we retell one of the great stories, then follow its illumination to delve deeper into conversation about how to enter into the life of the Christian imagination.

We want the podcast to be a place where you can come in and experience beauty, joyful celebration, and ancient wisdom; and go out renewed, bringing that life to your home, church, and vocation.”

This particular episode I really enjoyed they discussed Encanto from Disney and our relationship to the ordinary and mundane work that comprises most of our lives.

I am starting to listen to this–wow, Encanto, House of Tom Bombadil, a Russian novel? It is great–sounds like something my family (LOTR fans) would like. My son is reading a book about “The Inklings,” and maybe they discuss that, too. Thank you!

It reminds me of Christianity Today’s (now stopped) magazine, “Books and Culture.”

Yeah I absolutely the variety of stuff they cover. From Redwall to Julian of Norwich to the The Faerie Queene and beyond. And they set the different seasons with a different theme which allows for some cool through lines.
