I thought this was interesting too, just for the statement it makes, considering how huge a following Susan Wise Bauer has. The Well-Educated Mind Academy is a new thing she is doing, providing enrichment classes for “lifelong learners.”
The course is for adults and is taught by Derek Miller, who has an anthropology PhD from William and Mary and lectures at University of Richmond. It must have filled up for the fall session, because the course doesn’t show up on the open registration page. Maybe they will offer it again their next session.
