Remembering Ravi Zacharias

Ravi Zacharias’s life and service to Christ is truly inspirational, as summarized in his obituary posted to the RZIM website. His dedication to his calling in Christ is an amazing example to us all.

As a new Christian, while completing my PhD work in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, I felt a great disconnect between my newfound faith and my studies. Because I was open with people about what I believed, many of my colleagues would try to debate with me, asking me challenging questions. They expressed surprise that someone who was intelligent would believe in God. During this time, I took great comfort in listening to Ravi’s radio program, which reassured me that my faith was valid, rational, and could be highly intellectual. I continue to listen to RZIM podcasts today, enjoying hearing their apologetic arguments for the faith.

I am saddened to hear this. Thank you.
