I thought this a beautiful video illustrating population and distribution of the growth of humanity. While some may quibble with details, and the YEC folks will reject entirely, it gives a good visual to the statistics.
My thought when seeing the huge recent growth, was that collapse due to disease, war, famine etc. is almost inevitable. But maybe that is just the Covid talking. What are your thoughts?

The Bubonic plague part was crazy – I think that was the only time the ticker was moving backwards. It’s good to be cautious about COVID, but seeing that comparison emphasized how massive that really was (and how much more it must have felt like the end times, I would imagine).
