The question is pretty clear.We do i think have evidence of Holy Wars in the bible.After a recent quick pass of a book(The Bible Tells Me So ) which advocates against certain things that the OT attribues to God it might seem to me that God didnt really commanded the Isralites to do such things(Like the Holy War against the Cananites).Rather they believed God did with their leaders supporting this view for maybe personal influence or something else.Now is that the case?Whats your opinion on it
