Just hoping for some recommendations for modern Greek bible versions I can access online. Having some fruitful chats with a man of Greek background. I figure if I can give him both modern Greek and English, it will go better than the Koine Greek that he says makes church services very hard to comprehend for him.

What you’re looking for:
I can’t speak more than a couple of words in Greek anymore, and never spoke more than “broken ‘bar banter’”, so I can’t help you sort through the different versions. However, perhaps the folks over at the Hellenic Bible Society will be more helpful.
