Metaphoric interpretation

i don’t agree that if you don’t take Genesis as literal history, then it’s meaningless. It’s not. It’s communicating a basic message. God created everything, humans are sinful, and need a Savior. It’s a metaphor but it absolutely serves a purpose in my opinion.

I find the black and white view of the Bible disturbing and think that is what is causing people to leave the church. As well as being confronted with evidence for Evolution.

Anyone agree?
