Let the stars give light on earth - right away

Yes, and those stars are seen to be involved in processes that unfold over millions of years. Further, the light you see has been processed over its long journey to earth, red shifted and absorbed at specific wavelengths from interstellar gas. You are holding to a nursery rhyme level of understanding where little stars just sit there and twinkle.

As well, light is not all that falsifies your worldview. There are also neutrinos and gravitational waves which are from events in the far past.

That light, gravitational waves, and neutrinos, have taken billions of years to transit the distance to earth is plain and simple. There is no solution needed, because there is no problem to begin with. Deep time, no problem. Time to accommodate your thinking to reality, not the other way around.

I completely agree with you on the supernatural origin and ending of the universe, dad. Hebrews 1:10-12 says exactly what you’re saying—the heavens will perish, wear out like a garment, and be rolled up like a robe. The cosmos is entirely temporary.

But you’re actually proving my point about how the math works here. When you say the year will be 360 days again one day, you are tracking the exact same future physics that this model outlines.

Notice that the 8,766 metric isn’t based on a count of days—it is a constant of total hours in a solar orbit (365.25 days × 24 hours = 8,766). Because of physical forces like tidal friction, the Earth’s rotation is continuously slowing down. As the spin slows, the number of days in a year drops.

We are at 365.25 days now, but as we roll forward into the grand 7th Day cosmic Sabbath—which the formula shows spans 365 million years into the future—the Earth’s deceleration curve will eventually cross right through that perfect 360-day mark.

So the 8,766 constant doesn’t contradict the future 360-day prophetic year; it is the physical mechanism tracking the timeline of when the planet will actually reach it during the millennial reign of Christ. The physical “wearing out” of the creation garment and the prophetic calendar are locked into the exact same clock.

No, they’re not, they’re telling you that you haven’t the first clue what you’re reading – and they have no reason to honor your ignorance.

What translation are you using? This is a clumsy rendition. “To the one riding on the heavens, the ancient heavens” is far better.

And yes, in context it means that Yahweh drives/rides on the solid dome. The writer is taking ideas/functions assigned to other gods and saying, “No, it is Yahweh Who does this!”

The stars aren’t even mentioned in the text there – you’re adding them in. Genesis 1:14-18 are about the sun and the moon, and the message is in the fact that they are not even named.

BTW, just wanted to note that you’re back to violating a certain one of the Ten Words.

Yep… sadly.

That’s a good way to put it.

Especially when probably the earliest proponents of deep time got it from the scriptures.
But ‘dad’ doesn’t care because he acts like God never spoke to anyone except him.
