John C. Whitcomb, Jr., the first half of the Whitcomb/Morris team that wrote The Genesis Flood, in 1961, died on February 4. The Genesis Flood launched the contemporary Young Earth Creationist movement. The Baptist Bulletin has published a remembrance of Dr. Whitcomb:
