This video is from the “BioGraphics” YouTube channel, which I greatly enjoy. I knew about Johannes Kepler, but never knew about all he had to endure while making his ground-breaking discoveries. He even had to take a year off from his work to defend his mother from witchcraft accusations!
I met his direct, primogeniture descendant 30 years ago in Ireland.

He was an American engineer. The name had Americanized quickly and he was John Cuppler. It always is in the firstborn male. Which is remarkable if so; an unbroken line of 400 years. Good genes!
