In turn We tend to think We don’t need God or are God when We accomplish them. One Goal today is reaching the Heavens with Our Space Ships. We want to keep Our Bodies alive Forever, We’re trying to accomplish this! We attempt to control Weather, to make Rain. Can You think of others?

That does seem to assume that the reason we worship God is so he will give us immortality, etc. The Bible implies God’s intention is to dwell with us. Think of the original relationship between God and Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, the tabernacle, or the temple, etc. What really matters is the relationship we have with God not whether God will make us immortal or enable us to colonize the universe. Also, my view is that heaven is more of a future time when God, humanity, and creation are reconciled not a locale in the sky or the presence of a specific technology. Thus, space travel is not “going to heaven“ in the traditional sense of the phrase. Nature is God’s technology and we use it as well since we bear God’s image.

I wouldn’t mind my body staying alive for centuries if it could be the body I had when I was 20. It would mean I could keep caring for creation in the long term.
I’d like to get through the day. And die in my sleep.
A sexually incapable body (including mind)? Yeah, I’d like to tend a garden, in the moment, forever. Alone and together.
Our Mind has the ability to perceive We are a being and it’s possible for the being to continue to live in some other way. One person possibly showed We can be transferred, but it’s not hard recorded in History. It was noted to occur by some Witnesses and written, of course it could all an imagination, I with my living mind think it’s possible.

Yes it is a Old Testament Bible Question. New Testament by Jesus being Born Again and Us converting to being Humble Children, I cannot Be God.
I think, as you have alluded to, it is more humanity’s need or desire to control and mold the Universe to our bidding rather than living within its boundaries and restrictions. We take the place of God, instead of accepting His creation for what it is.
Why, we even try to tell God how He did it! (And claim we could have done better!)
