Is the Supernatural essential to Christianity

They are spiritual beings so they aren’t subjected to the weakness of the flesh. Their decision of sinning and rebelling to God (and it is my opinion that the rebellion came when God told them that he would have taken human form and in their pride they couldn’t accept that as humans have been created as inferior to angels as written in Hebrew 2:7, I believe that the Incarnation -which would have happened with or without our sin and the need for redemption, it would have happened either way- was what brought Lucifer and the angels who followed him to rebel) was due to pride which is the worst of the seven deadly/capital sins. And if you think about it, even amongst humans those who are guilty of this sin are the ones who are most hardened in their refusal of God. The sins of the spirit and of the intellect are far worse than the sins of the flesh.
