I am running into some local ministry challenges that I now realize after several posts that have had next to zero responses that I may need a specialized kind of help the forum may not be suited to provide.
Is it possible to present these challenges to a moderator directly?

You can use the PM feature to communicate with any individual on the forum by their screen name. Or you can direct a PM to @moderators, which would include the seven people who have access to the moderator inbox.
