I doubt if anyone here thinks it is a hoax, but there are those here who are still implying that a countrywide mandate for masking is or was not necessary. Try driving on the left side of a two-lane highway – I don’t care if it is out in the boondocks in a geographically large county with a population of twenty-three. You are protecting others and yourself. It needs to be standardized, even if it might seem arbitrary at the time, not that that time hasn’t already long since passed, but it’s not too late to help.
