The question should really be does tylenol work. In combination it helps other analgesics, like Excedrin is great for headaches (and the high priced coated Migraine version has the same active ingredients as cheap house brands!) and opioids, apparently, but by itself it’s about as an effective pain reliever as cornstarch. It does work on fevers though.
That is as far from humor as it gets. It is disturbing that at 35 years old he thought it somehow OK. We all do stupid things, and I hope this falls into that category rather than malicious intent, but even if not malicious, is a terrible example to present to youth.
I can thankfully say that this exact sort of occurrence would be impossible at our current church (and current situation at church), for two obvious interconnected reasons: we have no youth pastor, and I am the only regular attendee between 10 and 25. Also, all of the female regular attendees over 10 are either married or widowed.
