We face a younger generation that’s wrestling with these issues, and we need to wrestle with them ourselves. . . I like this part. It’s not like we have everything figured out here, or are likely to have it all wrapped up neatly with a bow on it by Christmas, but at least you are allowed to say, “What about this idea…?” I think some people come at the whole origins/theology discussion with the idea that unless you have everything “solved” you have nothing to offer. But the space to have the discussion is something to offer too.
