sounds like you live in a deterministic universe

I certainly do Brian, one that runs on quantum chaos from the basement that birthed it. I certainly don’t live in a folk tale that gets darker and darker two thousand years on from sunset for most religious folk.

You missed my point, of course the material universe follows fixed law/design. I was referring to you as person who is arguing that humans are determined just like the material universe of cause and effect. You said that the fall was a “design flaw”, which means Adam and other humans are programmed to sin by design.

I didn’t miss it at all Brian. I don’t have any headspace for The Fall™ or design or sin any more. Apart from as ancient - and modern - metaphors. I only have headspace beyond rationality for two-a-penny faith in Jesus.

I always find it ironic when someone argues for determinism, because the fact that they try and use persuasion presupposes people can changed their opinions. At any rate, your statements make me wonder why you are even on this forum to begin with.

Which statements? Why? Nobody changes their opinions. They are changed for us sometimes.
