It’s not my favorite, but my husband watches it with the kids almost every year. But I still deny that it is a tradition.
I can’t watch It’s a Wonderful Life without bawling my eyes out. I also love the stop-motion animation version of Rudolph and the original animated version of The Grinch. I’ll watch pretty much any version of A Christmas Carol, including the ones made for cable TV.
The Muppets Christmas Carol became quite a family tradition for us even still when our kids were teenagers.
Oh… I think this generation is seriously deprived for not having seen Miss Piggy or the Swedish Chef or the grumpy old guys from the peanut gallery in The Muppets.
Oh, the original Die Hard…no question.
