Evolution and the continuation of life

My first grandbaby is born in 5 days .
I thank God for a means toward diversity and the continuation of life .
Evolution occurs within the clade , in the bloodline , within a lineage .
In the big picture ," kinds from a kind ".
This grandbaby is the continuation of specific traits , a legacy .
In her , at this moment , rests the bulk of millions of years of evolution .
Combinations of genetic traits that have been passed from parents to offspring from the beginning .

Ok , so I’m pretty excited to meet little Elara in a few days …I’m totally stoked to be a grandpa .
It’s safe to say , I already love my granddaughter .

Grandchildren are great. Congratulations! I have a couple of 3 year old granddaughters, a 8 year old granddaughter and a 12 year old grandson. They give you a little window into the future, and make getting older not so bad, despite the aches and pains.
