I would agree that the YEC, OEC, and EC must all stand on a theological interpretation, but I would vehemently disagree that the YEC is an incorrect interpretation. A follow-up question to this would be to any OEC or EC…

Has modern science discoveries impacted your theological interpretation of Genesis?

Given there are interpretations that don’t assume 6,000 years that pre-date modern science I think the answer to this question can be no.
