Did Jesus Claim to be God? (and the trilemma)

Like I said. Worshipping at the altar of science with a mechanistic model of god. You say nature as if that excludes God. Since God is love and God is the prime mover of all things and sustains and creates all things each instant (a proper understanding of ex nihilo), I’m not surprised to find love evolving in nature. Creation itself is an act of love overflowing. Faith emerges within us as well. There is no need to disconnect love or faith from the physical world. Many of us Christians just believe there is also a spiritual world and materialism alone does not provide a full account of reality. We certainly have no issues with the natural order. It’s God’s handiwork. Your bifurcation between God and nature is just nonsense to me. Cakes don’t bake themselves.

Not scientific evidence. Big whoop.science is a good tool for determining truth that can be mathematically modeled. Equating that truth with all of truth is nonsense.

You can apply that to anything, whether good or evil.
I believe we can reason to love and morality, I just don’t think materialism can. Nothing is illuminated when that light is turned on. Anything you think it is lighting up you brought with you from elsewhere.

You have to go deeper than that. I accept natural selection and the role it played in our development. Materialism and the mind is a problem with a 2500 year history. You mentioning natural selection is about as relevant here as mentioning football.

I’m going back on topic here though.
