Creation Photos Around the World

Oh, you tempter! Yep I was thinking of the creme eggs. You have pricked my curiosity though. Since I am about to undergo yet another odometer change in a couple days I actually could rationalize another exception … or two.

Ha! (Is it going to be a transplant, or prosthetic? ; - ) Happy b-day in advance. :slightly_smiling_face: My chassis in its geezerhood has a few more km on it than yours, I think.

Are also acceptable. :+1:

… But not the coconut ones, there will be no coconuts in the New Creation.

Maybe for bowling? XD Or croquet?

It seems the eggs are the only Cadbury products that make it to the stores here across the pond, but they are an Easter tradition at our house.

That settles it then. I’m sticking to the old creation. There is another chocolate import we get from the UK that makes an Easter egg dark chocolate with a coconut creme filling capable of putting pounds back on me. Can’t think of the confectioner’s name just now but I know where to find them.

Dunno.

The tens digit is staying put for one more year. But the realization that it’s that close has persuaded me to stop climbing ladders and my trees to prune them. For the first time this year I hired an arborist and his crew to come prune some big trees for me. Two smaller, younger guys in climbing rigs armed with pole saws bouncing around 30 - 40 feet up in the air in my enormous elderberry tree was a sight to behold. That was something I would not have fancied doing at any age.

Is it made by Belazabub?

Aren’t they all? I am so damned.

Old men and ladders are not a good combo! (I know from experience :grimacing:, and an older than I friend at church had a nasty ankle fracture from a fall from one.) And thank you for mentioning an arborist – I have a 70 ft, and old (maybe double my age!), cottonwood that is leaning towards the house that I need to check periodically to see if it is leaning any further. It’s ca. 65 feet from the house and would maybe hit the garage, but it would still be a major inconvenience if it hit it.

While helping my older brother remodel an out building on a psyche hospital’s grounds I remember standing on a set of stairs we were taking down when it let go and fell a short distance to a truck below. It wasn’t expected but my balance and strength were up to the test and I was only a little annoyed that he’d let that happen. I have no illusion that I would be able to roll out of even a short fall any more. My thumbs and wrists are too weak from arthritis to be of any use, and I sure wouldn’t want to screw up my new knee which is still working great.

If you ask me, chocolate is a powerful apologetic that:

A. God exists - since nothing so delicious could have come into being without supernatural agency

and

B. Materialist dualism is incorrect - since nothing that delicious can be evil.

Maybe we should invite @T_aquaticus to see that argument. XD

A good piece of chocolate can make me exclaim, “OMG”. Not gonna lie.

So some things are sacred in a way that transcends the religious/irreligious boundary.

Recently in the harbor, I happened to spot a massive houndfish making his rounds. When I find the pictures I took, I’ll be sure to post!

A slightly alarming view of a chrysanthemum (a word I did not know how to spell):

A garden Sarlacc! Beautiful. I usually remain “mum” when asked to spell “chrysanthemum.”
