Creation Museum photo on Lucy fossil

One has to wonder what creationists think a transitional fossil should look like. Apparently, they think Lucy can’t be a transitional because she had ape-like features which is pretty crazy. A transitional fossil in our lineage would have a mixture of human AND ape features. Pointing to ape-like features does not disqualify Lucy as a transitional specimen, obviously.

What creationists apparently won’t do is acknowledge the human-like features found in Lucy, most notably in the pelvis.

Lucy (i.e. Au. afarensis) had a pelvis much more like ours than other apes (e.g. P. troglodytes).
