Of the four women closest to me, three daughters and a wife, two made excess milk and two did not make enough.
My wife’s friend, decades ago, who made too little was thrilled when my wife offered excess milk.
Interestingly, local people here have said there is plenty across the border in Mexico. Perhaps the FDA feels quality measures it was manufactured under are not adequate, much like the problems that shut down some domestic producers. there does seem to be some on the shelves here, though quantities are limited with no more than 2 cans per purchase.
