Any books on reading the Bible as literature with a focus on scene by scene metaphors and symbolism?

So I’m looking for books that dive into metaphorical Christianity. Books by those who treat scripture as truth told through myths. Marcus Borg is fantastic. Bought a few of his books. Joseph Campbell dives into it a little bit. Looking for something like a scene by scene , although obviously it was cover it all and I did not see any study bibles written with this lens. I’m kind of to the point where almost all scripture to me is symbolism and essentially not a single verse is to be taken very literally.

An example would be that Jesus did not walk on water it was a story created to showcase the belief that the teachings of Christ lead to life, not death and that life is more important than death and that the waters represented the cosmic chaos. Or that the story of the water into wine was symbolism for christs teachings superseding the teachings of Moses.
