As with the author and his wife, my boys are used to waiting for me as I photograph plants and insects new to me as we walk in our park. Maybe we can take a walk high up in the mountains as they do some day.

He definitely has a beautiful backyard. Lucky to love near such a grand place. Though I am glad to had them longer growing seasons. I had to look up the montane ecosystems. First time I’ve heard of it. I need to get a camera or macro lens for my phone.
I definitely understand the playing out of others leaving you behind as you examine things in detail.
They had some really lovely flowers.
