I proposed elsewhere that it could be that the ages mentioned here weren’t solar but lunar cycles which would normalise things a lot. with regards to lifespans. Fine enclosed my conversation with AI regarding this issue:
Enclosed the table of ages calculated in years. which make much more sense with regards to variance as well. The idea to look at offsets came actually from my work on diagnostics were I use that to deconvolute data by identifying offsets from NSB, non specific binding.
As you can see, the data start to give not only plausible ages but also plausible coefficients of variation, also noted by AI
