A Paper Ketchup Bottle?

HEINZ, maker of the world’s favorite ketchup and beloved condiments, is teaming up with Pulpex to develop a paper-based, renewable and recyclable bottle made from 100 percent sustainably sourced wood pulp

The company wants "to make all packaging globally recyclable, reusable or compostable by 2025.

It should be doable. We already have paper cartons of milk.

Have you seen any environmentally friendly products like this in the stores?

But they are plastic-coated and not recyclable.

They can be coated with food-grade wax

Nuff said.  

Heinz says its new paper bottles will be recyclable.
