Disney has never been known for faith-based movies. They had the Narnia franchise but dropped it after several films, because only “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” did well at the box office. The tried again with “A Wrinkle in Time,” which flopped at the box office. In this case, Christians were batting around negative reviews without even seeing the film!

But in 1978, they produced a short animated film called The Small One about the very first Christmas Eve.

That seems vaguely familiar, and when my children were young. (I wish it weren’t a subscription.)

ETA: But it’s only $2 on Amazon Prime.
