I am theologically moderate. I believe very strongly in theistic Evolution. Regarding the authorship of the Torah, I believe the Documentary Hypothesis. I believe the parallels of the extra-Biblical ancient near east literature to the stories from the Torah lead credibility to the idea that the Torah, especially the Genesis creation account, should not be taken literally. I believe each book of the Old Testament started out as its own individual text, therefore should be interpreted individually.
