Yes – they say the opposite of your position.
You argument was that all the dying for others that is involved in survival of the fittest is contrary to God’s nature. I said that is not a value that is found in scripture. You insisted that it was, but keep citing passages that contradict your point.

So you’re back to God not being in control of nature.

Prey get eaten because they are weaker (or slower) than the predator, but scripture praises God for supplying the prey – and the Matthew passage supports that. So your objection still boils down to not liking that some die for the sake of others.

How can you claim to understand evolution if you do not understand Survival of the fittest!

No creature willingly dies in nature. And neither is it just to do with predation.

No I am not. ToE is nature running riot without God.

And you think that means God just sacrifices the weak? How is that supported by either of the passages I gave you?

NO!

You have perverted Natural Selection. It is not anything like what you claim.

I repeat, How can you claim to understand Evolution and not understand Survival of the fittest (Natural Selection)?

No wonder you cannot see my objection to it!
Richard

Refutations.

 :+1:

And there was i thinking you were going to claim a mother dying for her young. Well, near enough,

Of course Evolution has a reason for this parental suicide.

However it would fit with a man laying down his life for a friend (or family)

But you have gone off at a tangent.

Self sacrifice is rare not the norm in nature. Most deaths are forced upon rather than voluntary, and that is not what my biblical quotes were about.

The whole point is that Survival of the fittest has no moral value in Christianity.

Richard

‘Rare’ is not ‘non-existent’.

Admit you were wrong.

I know that
exception proves the rule
does not fit with science

But it is fine when talking in general terms

I am not wrong.

And you are being too clever for your own good, and revealing ignorance.

Richard

You were wrong.

:sunglasses:

There are none so blind…

And you have shown that you cannot see.
