For what it is worth, I’ve watched Craig “summarize” views of atheists, and while I agree with Craig’s basic position, his misrepresentation of his opponents is rather atrocious. What Craig gets right is often very, very right. But this seems like a pattern of his, not being careful to accurately represent the views of his opponents.
That said, I take issue with Walton on what seem to me some obvious blind spots on how he reads the OT text and how he thinks the ancients viewed the cosmos. But concur how important it is to accurately represent the positions of those with whom we differ… even if for no other reason than our own credibility.
