If by accommodation we mean the idea that God’s inspiration of scripture did not override mistaken ideas the authors may have had about nature, then it definitely works for me. However, I don’t think that is what this blog author is talking about when he said: “accommodationism doesn’t work”. When he says that biologos was an accommodationist organization I think he is talking about things like the latest blog by Jim Stump about engaged in dialogue with representatives from Reasons to Believe. In this context accommodationism is not about the Bible.
