What does God being the creator mean to you?

God is, was, and always will be, and is outside of time (which, we can say, He created). If that wasn’t the case, it wouldn’t be God. It’s also way beyond our imagination. (I use the word “it” because God isn’t specifically male, in fact the Holy Spirit is often thought of as female).

God is always personal and portrayed as Father in both Old and New Testaments, so “It” never applies. And there’s this:

“Helper” (or “Advocate”, “Counselor”, or just “Paraclete” (the Greek word used) is a masculine, and since “the Holy Spirit” is a subordinate phrase the neuter is irrelevant.
