Both stories are scientifically incorrect. The sun and the planets actually formed at the same time in a continuous process, according to science. According to the 2,500 year old Jewish creation myth, the Earth is four days older than the sun. Other similarly non-Christian creation myths are available. Why would you want to believe any of them instead of science?
