The doctrine of the Trinity? Why?

it would be nice if there was a way to describe the necessity of the Trinitarian view in a way that makes sense to most every culture … instead of just the culture in which one was raised.

I don’t think the Trinity necessarily “makes sense” in any culture. It was a doctrine developed to try to explain revelation and unify other doctrines.
