Christy, does this book contain anything antagonistic towards God or Christian faith? I’m assuming it doesn’t since you like it, but wanted to make sure. I’m thinking of doing it as a read aloud this year for my girls. Would it be a good fit for ages 9-13? They don’t know much about evolution yet. I’ve been avoiding the topic while I’ve been working through my own internal struggle about it. 
I don’t remember anything objectionable, it’s pretty straight forward science and history. You can read quite a bit of it using Amazon’s “look inside” feature if you want an idea of the level. Amazon.com
