Yes. I mean we know that Jesus will return and humanity will be there, so I don’t think that extinction is in realm of possibilities. Not because it can’t conceivably happen, but because God wouldn’t allow that. Furthermore, I really doubt the second coming will take longer than a few centuries from now.

Sorry if I mis-quoted you! Humanity surely as many means of ending all life on Earth (nukes, biological warfare, pollution, AI), but a wide variety of other things (solar flares, random virus outbreaks, sudden weather change) could all do us in too
