One cannot separate theodicy from creation and evolution.
Sure you can. Evolution is a model of a natural process. Theodicy and creation are philosophy and theology.
They may be different, but they are all related. Darwin himself was aware of this I understand.
The other way of saying this is: whether you are a Young Earth Creationist, or an Old Earth Evolutionist, you are faced with theodicy issues…
… unless you are one of the few here on the BioLogos boards who thinks Evolution RESOLVES those issues… or a Creationist who ALSO thinks everything is solved by blaming Adam and Eve.
George, it is not ideas or ideology which solve problems. It is knowledge and factual information which resolve problems.
