Origins of the Genesis stories

I have taken an interest in the story of Noah’s sons and it’s origins. The name Yafet is pretty transparently cognate to the name of the name of the Greek titan Iapetus, whilst the castration of Uranus fits the sin of Ham. Both Cronus and Ham usurp their father’s authority through an act related to the genitals. Cronus castrated his father whilst Ham stared at his father’s nakedness (staring at a man’s genitals in the ANE was associated with stealing his authority). It’s even possible (though I say this with less certainty) that the name Kham is cognate to the Hittite Kumarbi, the prototype of Cronus.

Is it possible that the Table of Nations was originally a theogonic text?
