  • There’s a “Feast of the Circumcision”???

However, the Ethiopian Orthodox church has traditionally held that Jesus was divinely circumcised and prophesied that his blood would not be shed until he was crucified.

Pre-Crucifixion Injuries and Abuse in the Bible

  • Sweat and Blood (Hematidrosis): While praying in the Garden of Gethsemane before his arrest, Jesus experienced extreme emotional and physical stress, causing him to sweat drops of blood (Luke 22:44).
  • Slapping and Punching: During his illegal religious and civil trials before the Sanhedrin and guards, Jesus was slapped, punched, and beaten in the face (Matthew 26:67, Mark 14:65, Luke 22:63–64).
  • Blindfolding and Mockery: He was blindfolded, mocked, and spat upon by his captors (Mark 14:65, Luke 22:64).
  • Beard Plucking: Prophetic texts echoed in the Gospels note that his beard was physically pulled or plucked out (Isaiah 50:6).
  • Scourging (Flagellation): Before leading him to be crucified, Pontius Pilate had Jesus whipped or scourged with a Roman flagellum (a multi-thonged whip embedded with bone and metal pieces) (John 19:1, Mark 15:15). This caused deep lacerations, severe blood loss, and mangled flesh across his back.
  • Crown of Thorns: Soldiers pressed a crown woven of sharp thorns onto his head, causing profuse bleeding on his scalp (Matthew 27:29, John 19:2).
  • Physical Exhaustion and Falls: Because of the heavy blood loss and trauma from the scourging, Jesus was weakened to the point where he could not carry the crossbeam (patibulum) the entire way, leading Simon of Cyrene to be pressed into service to carry it (Luke 23:26, Mark 15:21). Some medical and biblical evaluations also note that physical exhaustion caused him to stumble and fall under the weight.

Other philosophers contended that with the Ascension of Jesus, all of his body parts – even those no longer attached – ascended as well. One, Leo Allatius, reportedly went so far as to contend that the foreskin became the rings of Saturn; however, this reference is unverifiable.

Oh, and let me guess… a drop of blood fallen in Gethsemane became the planet Mars?

Yes, Nestorian seems to be a common name for it. It also seems to have been a very powerful church, I am guessing it was the chief religious organization of those who controlled the Silk Road.

You can find Christian artifacts all over Central and East Asia. I highly doubt current beliefs about Central Asia, especially regarding Genghis Khan, and I think likely the Central Asian empire that controlled the Silk Road was Christian, and likely the source of Christianity.

There is a lot of genetic evidence that Genghis Khan was the one to most likely ravage northern China and other places.

Not only is there no such genetic evidence, there is no evidence the mongols existed besides some manuscripts. An empire larger and more recent than Rome… no evidence. Just so you know, I am from Central Asia, and the so called Mongols who conquered us were no where to be found. We were conquered by the Tatars, a supposed enemy of the Mongols who were eradicated by Genghis Khan for poisoning his father. And yet my mother was one of those ‘eradicated’ people.

Time to start questioning things.

But there is .

What historians or scientists work are you referring to that has lead you to reimagine this entire narrative that seems to be supported.

They look at a star cluster in the areas he is said to have conquered, and in this cluster of various genes not towards the Mongolians .

I’ll be honest.. I don’t even know what you’re talking about. I read the last sentence that you disagree with something about khan…. Something about Silk Road Christianity… read nothing before it.

Typed it was khan and the Mongolians that did invade northern China……. I don’t even know for sure wha you were originally disagreeing about… I’m not going to continue the discussion on my end. Because I don’t even know
For sure what’s being debated. What your position is , what it is not….. when I read that single sentence it seemed to only you disagreed with the concept of Mongolians attacking northern China
