Is the Quantum Universe more than what we think?

Correct. The actual beginning of the universe is a singularity (as far as we know) where the laws of physics pretty much breaks down and everything is speculation.

I’ve never understood that view.

Late to the conversation, but welcome, @Interfacebyalexandra , it is good to hear your voice.
Indeed, I agree the sense of wonder at how God may act within the quantum universe is intense. Just as some have difficulty with evolution, feeling it diminishes God may think that learning how God can work through quantum physics also diminishes him, but it is not something I see as as a problem. How God works is not an issue, it is that God does work however he sees fit. I am reminded of a poem I referenced in another thread, but seems appropriate here as well:

The important part of this is the break down of the physics we understand. Since we are left with speculation only we cannot actually insist it is a space-time singularity. And thus the metaphysical naturalists like to think it is not and somehow natural law extends beyond this point in some form. In other words, it is a big question mark which people choose to fill in vastly different ways to fit their worldview.

Or as one participant in a panel discussion with Neil deGrasse Tyson once put it, “Of course it’s a singularity – but that’s just a fancy way of saying our math breaks down and we have no idea what’s going on”.

Seeing, observing, and acknowledging this is, to me, God is in everything. This is acknowledging is existence and seeing the wonder in how he created all of this. When I was researching my work I never expected to find this. When I did it was a wow moment.

That part bothered me. I do believe God is in everything in this world. So, being wowed, was a bit of a surprise as much as it was an awesome moment.

This poem has more meaning to me due to the paper I am writing on the quantum universe.

God can be overwhelming but that is the human response to a sureme deity. God Himself has shown that he is not a God to be feared and is not only approachable but responsive.

I see nothing wrong with wonder at creation, in fact i wish some people with scientific bent could share it instead of consentrating on the Human knowledge bit.

And you don’t even realize that you’re doing no different than criticizing an artist for matching paint color to the subject when painting a portrait.
“Concentrating on the Human knowledge bit” leads to more wonder, not less (except for those too blind to see).

You certainly have a way with analogies. I find them vaguely amusing. I am guessing that Art and art appreciation is not on your list of academic study.
