Too much the funny:

“Many went forward to cite the reasons they believed Peterson deserved to be made an honorary Christian. “He’s read and studied more of the Bible than 90% of actual believers,” said one speaker. “He’s given numerous lectures that are straight out of Scripture,” said another, citing the fact that many pastors can’t even pull that off.”

If those who love Jesus are in decline in this period of history it is a sad situation. Not because the body of Christ may disappear because that will never happen because Jesus is Lord of Heaven annd earth. Its sad because it means fewer peoole will be saved from sin and the wrath of the Lamb. His kingdom and His subjects will last forever and no power in heaven or earth can overcome it but those who reject Him will be thrown out into outer darkness. Though unbelievers may increase they will not abide in the Kingdom that lasts forever. We who believe need to continue in trust in the Lord and do our part in bringing others into the Kingdom. We trust Him who as all authority in Heaven and earth.
