Just a reminder: Launching one-liners that basically don’t do anything but attempt to “score points” with a real or imagined audience of like-minded people is not dialogue. We all get it that not everyone agrees and some people aren’t going to change their minds.
Either discuss something of substance, or go watch Netflix. Or find somewhere else on the internet where sophomoric “I know you are but what am I?” type conversations are par for the course. We are striving for better here.
In case anyone needs a refresher, the guidelines for gracious dialogue are here: FAQ/Guidelines
Other kinds of contributions are not so welcome.

What does “Gracious Dialogue” look like? 9
-Focusing on a commenter’s arguments, rather than an assessment of their character
-Contributing thoughts to the topic at hand, rather than veering discussion off-topic
-Assuming legitimate Christian faith on the part of other commenters, unless they identify otherwise
-Showing eagerness to learn from perspectives of others, rather than simply reminding others of the rightness of your own position.
If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later. [/quote]
