How do we tackle the argument that the OT seems to believe that the Mosaic covenant is eternal?

This is simple, the covenants are eternal. But, disobedence seperates a person from it.
“Your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear” (Isa. 59:1-2)
